Firewood
Why Cordwood?
Firewood is usually sold by the full cord, face cord, or bag. A full cord or bush cord has a volume of 128 cubic feet (3.6 m3) including wood, bark, and air space in a neatly stacked pile. The standard firewood piece length is 16 inches.
Today, burning of wood is the largest use of energy derived from a solid fuel biomass. Wood fuel can be used for cooking and heating.
